Just visiting for now...
Well, merry christmas, Budehuc. Is that what it is now? I never paid attention to holidays, really. In any case, I'm back for a while...I took a little trip on the high seas...it was great while it lasted, but I'm starting to think I should've stayed out, this place is still too cold for my liking.

The Grishend's still docked at the capitol, but I caught a ride up here for a friendly little visit...as well as to bolster the local tradesman's inventory. His new stock of exotic spices and oils, as well as some fine fabrics, would make great gifts, if your friends are into that sort of thing. Whatever.

Although I suppose I likely could have gotten more for the goods elsewhere, I was feeling a bit generous and not really keen on traveling further inland to sell them. It's still a profit, since the crew of that Falena merchant ship I met out at sea was kind enough to give them to me for free, and certainly not under threat of violence, as well as a lovely selection of wines, most of which I kept for myself. I brought a few with me as well, which I do actually intend to give out as gifts, although it has nothing to do with the holidays.

I'll be staying here for a day or so before I go back, I suppose. Although I'm also considering staying the whole week...oh well, there will be time enough for decisions later.
